DOLLAR TREE DISTRIBUTION CENTER

The Dollar Tree Stockton Regional Distribution Center is located within the Airport Gateway Center. The project has been masterplanned for 800,000-sf on 50 acres, to be constructed in three phases.
Phase l, completed June 1999, consisted of a 340,000 sf distribution center with 35-foot interior clear height for high-piled storage, and included 68 shipping docks. the facility was constructed with tilt-up concrete and structural steel frame.
Phase ll, completed in 2001, consisted of 216,000 sf. including 5,000 sf of regional offices, a dining facility and dining courtyard for 200 staff, and interior mezzanine space to accommodate installation of automated conveyor systems. 10 additional shipping docks were added. The facility totals of 563,000 sf. Site planning included facilty staff parking and trucking routes for 78 shipping and delivery docks.
