The developer plans to renovate the existing 120 room Hallmark hotel into Hilton Garden Inn. Hilton Garden inn is a globally recognized hotel brand that provides amenities and services for travelers. The renovation aims to create a modern and contemporary look that reflects the hotel brand as well as the local community and businesses.

The façade facing 1st Street also will be renovated per the proposed rendering. A new metal canopy with a new flat roof infilled with a wood grain texture is proposed.  

 

The proposed exterior renovation mainly focuses on the façade on F Street and 1st Street. The existing balconies along F Street will have a fresh look by creating enclosed walls at both sides of the balcony which will provide privacy to the guests, while also adding an aspect of connection to the urban street life.  
The neutral tone of the cement plaster and the warm material tone of the wood grain planks provide a more contemporary look. This composite wood material (recycled material) will last longer than natural wood which tends to deteriorate quickly.

 

The project is completed in 2019.
