Completed in 1999, this $120M facility at the company's headquarters campus in Santa Clara, California includes 540,000 sf of administrative office, research and development space, a full service cafeteria seating 1,200, a 400-seat auditorium, a 1,450-space parking garage, and an enclosed pathway spanning over a public street to connect to the main campus buildings including the new 13,700 sf. SC9 Shipping and Receiving Facilty.
The auditorium, ringed by a distinctive wall of curving reflective glass, is located adjacent to the main entrance. Designed as a multi-purpose activity center, the auditorium's fixed seating is configured in a semicircle that slopes toward an elevated stage. State-of-the-art rear projection, video teleconferencing, and theatrical lighting enhance the room's versatility.
